Responsibilities:
•Manage the Healthy Schools Program for 140+ schools. This program deals with preventing childhood obesity, nutrition, staff wellness, physical activity, and more.
•Provided training and technical assistance across the state in wellness team development, sustainable processes and implementation of best practice wellness strategies.
•Routinely recruiting new schools to participate in the Healthy Schools Program.
•Assist educators and community organizations in systems and culture change around a sustainable wellness initiative.
•Lead multiple workshops and trainings for each school on Healthy Schools Program topics.
•Assisted with the creation of School Wellness Committees and District Wellness Committees
•Developed monthly newsletters
•Cultivate relationships with local stakeholders
